Jake and Diana were married on Saturday, November 15 at Texarkana’s Prissy Chrissy Ranch. It was the perfect location for such a cute couple! Even though it was a little chilly, they did a great job of creating an atmosphere of love and romance. For their send off, instead of getting in a car and driving away…they left in a helicopter!! It was cool (in more ways than one!) to be that close to a helicopter. Although I must admit I took MANY steps back when it started to take off! :) Once they reached a certain height, fireworks filled the air. It was amazing!!

Mr. C was a delight to work with! He was a busy little boy and such a sweetie! I even got a couple of hugs. At the beginning of the session it was really foggy and starting to rain, but luckily the fog cleared a little and it stopped raining. The lighting was perfect, as you can tell in these pictures. Thank you so much for asking me to photograph your family! I had a great time!!!

Rain and cold weather forced us to have our session inside. Mr. C wasn’t interested at all in taking pictures, but his parents and furry brother Jaxson were so calm and patient with him. I took pictures of this family last year and at that time Jaxson was the busy one…click here to see last year’s picture.  Thanks for asking me to take your pictures again this year!

My second session this Sunday was with the Griffin family. Miss M. gave me a run for my money, but I did end up getting a few good ones of the entire family together…after I worked a little of my photoshop magic! Enjoy the sneak peek!

“A little ditty, about Jack and Diane…”  That’s the song that kept going through my mind during this session.  This lovely couple is getting married in less than two weeks and I KNOW they are ready!!!!  I can’t wait either!  I’m so happy they went with some of my ideas because a few them really turned out awesome.  Here’s a sneak peek…and be sure to check back in a couple of weeks for the wedding pictures!!!

What a day…what a wedding!! This past Saturday I had the privilege of photographing Joe and Lensey’s wedding. They make a good looking couple, don’t you agree? One of the great things about my job is that I spend most of my time right beside the bride. Only me, Lensey and her bridesmaids will know what the discussion was about right before she walked down the aisle! :) I want to wish you all the happiness in your new life together!!! Thank you so much for asking me to be part of your special day…(and waiting so patiently for this sneak peek!)

Miss A. wasn’t much for looking at the camera…but she did love tending to her little brother. I’m so glad I was able to capture some of their interactions! Mom mentioned that she would be ordering pictures to give to her family as Christmas presents (and I thought I was the only one that did that!) So, I thought I would post that as idea for YOUR Christmas list. Do you have a relative who has everything or a mother who always wants a picture of the family together?!? Why not send them picture! From now until December 20th I’m offering Christmas mini sessions for $35! Contact me (or check out my website) for more information! OK, on to the sneak peek!!!

Another family mini session sneak peak! Miss L. is at the perfect age to laugh and smile for me…and big brother K. only wanted to run from me! I was still able to get some great shots! Also, check out mom and dad! They were good sports dressing up and walking through the woods, chasing their kiddos. Thanks for the fun session!

My Christmas mini sessions started this weekend. My first session was with this lovely family. We had fun watching Miss L. throwing rocks in the pond and trying to catch fish with a stick! Enjoy the sneak peek!

Amazing, GORGEOUS (someone told me I use that word too much on here :), loving, sweet…those are just some of the words that come to mind when I think of this couple and their love for each other. They decided to meet before the wedding for a couples session at the Historic Washington State Park in Arkansas and I’m so glad they did. Not only was it a neat location, it was great getting to see them see other for the first time on their wedding day. I’m so happy to share a few of my favorites from the day. I went a little over board with the preview, but I just couldn’t narrow it down anymore. Enjoy!!
